Day 1

After many days of researching, I've decided to try Monistat 7 for hair growth.  I have recently cut a lot of my hair off; hair on one side of my head was substantially longer than the other and I decided to even it out.  It is still uneven but not as noticeable and I just didn't want to cut off anymore hair until it has actually grown enough to where I actually want to have it down.  I will post up pictures tomorrow of my actual hair length.  Until my hair reach the wanted length, I will keep my hair up in a bun to avoid my hair rubbing against my clothes which can cause breakage.  I don't want that.

So today is the first day I actually used monistat 7.  The one I have is like a push tube and I just basically pushed out an inch of the product into a bottle, and mixed it with a good amount of water.  Well I first took a shower and washed, conditioned, and deep condition my hair.  I do not generally like my hair curly so prior to applying the mixture, I straightened my hair using a heat protector and also a split end binding treatment.  As mentioned above, I will keep my hair in a bun until the desired length so I used a spray bottle to apply the mixture.  It definitely went everywhere and some of my hair curled up but not as curly as it usually is.  I definitely did my research and I definitely did feel a tingling sensation in my scalp.  Tenderness was there but only to one spot, I think it was because I applied too much due to not remembering if I had applied it there yet, I do suggest starting from one side of the head to the other so you don't forget.  No headache yet so this is a good sign.

I do suggest after applying the mixture, do use a leave in conditioner as it has been stated that monistat has a drying agent and may dry your hair.  So especially if you are using a spray bottle like I am, it is definitely a good idea to use a leave in conditioner afterwards.  So that is all I have.  Tomorrow I will post up a picture of my hair length currently and will update by the week, and will tell you guys how many times a week I have applied the mixture.
